I haven’t been in a writing mood this week—which explains the complete and total lack of anything to read on this blog.
I have been reading a number of other blogs—trying to identify myself on Eurotrippen’s “3 simple blogging truths.” (She’s my favorite blogger right now.); trying not to snort too loudly at Jon Swift’s masterpiece regarding the Fairfax Virginia, Virginia, libraries, “Who Needs Books?”; worrying about the trip to South Africa after the CQ’s happy news, “Anybody wanna house, part 2” (odds down to 50/50 now); Worried about Koko; and missing the Disenchanted Youth who is on a business trip.
Otherwise I have been busy—I have a mountain of laundry to do this weekend as well as a mountain of work—hopefully both mountains will be mole hills by Monday.
The only problem on my horizon is during my upcoming trip to the United Kingdom—I’m currently scheduled to fly from Bristol—and a lot of airlines, including BA Connect, are canceling their flights due to runway problems in wet weather.
Gee, if they are having wet weather runway issues at airports in the UK I guess that whole country will be back to 1940’s era train travel soon.
I am home! Woot!
