After being uncertain about my willingness to attend Indy Pride, I threw all caution to the wind, and headed north with Mateo and Chaz to the Circle City and it’s 2007 Pride.
This is my second pride event in the United States; the first was Fort Wayne Pride a few years back and was down right boring.
What made this Pride enjoyable was the company: between Mateo, Chaz, and Brett (a friend we met at Pride), there was enough to talk about and look at without getting bored staring at the Log Cabin Republican booth. Instead we talked, guy watched, drank water, and watched a few performances on stage.
Rather than write some long winded description of the day, I’ve posted a few pictures here, and a few more on my Flickr account in my “Indy Pride 2007” collection.
Just two? Have you no pride?
Sorry, I just couldn’t resist.
But that does remind me of a couple of stories….
I do have no pride. But I had fun!
lolz jiffy lube + adam=funny
it seemed way too easy.
These photos bring back memories of the two Indy Pride events I attended (1998 and 1999).
Adam, Did you know that the word for “lube” in German is “Gleitmittel”?
I’m glad you had fun, Adam! I don’t think it would have been the same without you there!!!
@jerry: I hope the memories were good.
@Reko: i did not. Is that lube as in oil lube or as in astrolube?
@mateo: you made it great! thanks for agreeing to go!
