Freezing Cold…

When I woke up this morning, it was -11°C.

Such cold weather tends to make me feel like hibernating, but I managed to force myself out today. I headed to the city center to buy a new thermos for holding tea—my old tea thermos died a most peculiar death a couple nights ago.

I’d made hot tea in it, drank it through the evening and then left the mostly empty pot in the living room until the morning. When I picked it up in the morning, and shook it, a most peculiar sound came out. Upon further inspection in the kitchen, the lining for the pot had shattered and collapsed in on the pot.

Into the bin it went.

I popped into Müller and found, essentially, the one I’d had for 17€–it took a bit of searching, but I realized it held only a litre, the same amount as a tall, slender one costing 7,99€.

Guess which one I bought.

I adore the thermos I have. Although I feel slightly dorky carrying around my coffee thermos and then my sigg water bottle. I’m a thirsty person what can I say?
