Note to Self 2: Never fly British Airways

British Airways flew a 747 AGAIN for 10 hours with only 3 engines, this time from Singapore to London. Scary part is that it is the SAME plane they did it with from LA to London a week earlier.

I won’t fly them because my uncle and cousin flew them and lost their luggage and didn’t get it to them until 2 days before their flight home…and wouldn’t give them the cash money they said they would.

I’d love to know the tail number from the plane though. If I walked up to get on a BA flight and saw that tail number I’d wait for the next flight. When you fly with 3 of 4 engines the pilot has to use excess amounts of rudder to keep the plane from flying in circles. This puts a tremendous amount of stress on the tail of the plane. After having this stress applied for nearly 24 hours, I’d think the plane would be due for a rather serious inspection or tail replacement.

Think about that plane that crashed in New York in November 2001. It had similar issues with the tail, tail fell off, plane fell out of the sky.

Then again, if it’s my time to go, it’s my time to go.
