One of the first friends I met after moving to Bloomington was Mateo. I met him while chatting on gay.com. What made him stand out was his profile in which he admitted to being a male Daria. Daria, for those of you’ve forgotten, was an animated series on MTV featuring a “smart, acerbic, and somewhat misanthropic high school girl”. Daria was fantastic, a word that I can extend to apply to Mateo. He’s somebody I look forward to seeing each and every time I’m in Bloomington.
Hey TQE readers!
Just wanted to let you know my three favorite blog posts as we approach number 2000!
Nov 16, 2008: What you (we) missed…
In this post Adam tells us various things about a trip. This trip wasn’t even necessarily his most fun or exciting, but it still sounds like someplace we’d like to go when we read about it. We get to live vicariously through his travel adventures, which I love, and possibly gain ideas for our own future travels. I especially love checking out all the photos that Adam has taken.
May 10, 2007: Stinky Trip
In this post Adam tells us about his experience when encountering fellow travelers. It shows us that traveling definitely has a downside. This makes those of us stuck at home feel better about our lives. Plus, it’s really incredibly hilarious!
June 8, 2009: Werbung
In this post Adam tells us about the mail he receives. It shows us how much detail and the thoroughness that Adam puts into many of his posts. He wants to make sure you have all the information you may need. It also tells us that sometimes he has WAY too much time on his hands!
Thanks for listening folks, and thank YOU Adam for keeping us all entertained!
More coming in the next few days.
