Flying Pam Ann

my ticket!

Wednesday night I finally saw a comedian that I’ve wanted to see for years: Pam Ann.

Given how much I love travel, in particular, flying, let me just say that Pam Ann is a comedian right up my alley. She does comedy that is based on the airline industry, poking fun at [...]

18:00 CET – In Motion

For six nights in a row this week, I will not be sleeping in the same bed twice – right now I’m half way through this travel marathon and I am looking forward to being at rest, somewhere.

Monday at 10:00 Mountain Standard Time I was in Denver, specifically at the airport, [...]

Notes on Pond-Hopping and Subsequent Events

Yesterday’s post was written from the comfort of my own apartment in Berlin. This post is written, at least right now, at 36,000 feet, somewhere south of Reykjavik, Iceland. Funny enough I know somebody who is vacationing there, at least as I write this.

Checking in 24 hours in advance of the flight was well [...]

German, French, Spanish, and British collaboration, coming together in Hamburg: Airbus

Thursday I went to Hamburg—a one-night journey—in order to visit one of Hamburg’s most advanced factories, the Airbus facility.

I can’t really explain how it happened to come to be this week, but essentially I remember that Airbus was in Hamburg after the Whiney Expatriate Blogger Meet-Up, and then I sort of started making plans, [...]

Evening in Lisbon

I’m departing Lisbon at 07:40 tomorrow morning, heading home by way of Paris/CDG and Frankfurt. I’ll be boarding an A318 tomorrow–a new plane for me. Lisbon is a great city, I wish I could stay longer, but by the end of this week, I will have flown four flight segments, including a transatlantic hop.

Il-86

I’m playing the 24 Hour Game right now.

In exactly 24 hours from now, I will be waiting in an airport terminal, waiting for my connecting flight to board so that I can be on my way to Armenia, for the second time.

This is going to be a short trip: five nights away from [...]
