Time in Indiana: Sunday, 7pm, until 6:30 am, Thursday morning, split between Bloomington and Indianapolis. Notes on Bloomington: Holy cow, there is a ton of construction going on – the bypass, 10th Street, South Walnut, Sare Road, plus the ongoing construction on campus. [...] After finishing work in Bloomington I headed north to Indianapolis—not that I like Indianapolis at all, but I needed am “Adam-Time” away from it all. I ended up spending my Friday afternoon looking for something in Indy, and not finding it – the biggest problem with Indianapolis is that there is no there there, and [...] das Original Am ende von meine Reise habe ich „Adam-Zeit“. Freitag Abend [...] I spent my final weekend away on this trip visiting Koko and Boy, my two friends who have changed Indiana-no-place into Indianapolis with a nice home overlooking a small lake, a beautiful kitchen, and excellent conversation. Although her birthday was Thursday, he big celebration was held Friday evening, when I showed up. I brought with [...] This trip I spent a couple nights in Indy attempting to adjust to local time while visiting Koko and Boy. Food-wise, there wasn’t a single restaurant in the city that I really wanted to return to immediately as all my old favorites have either slowly decayed or closed. I’m happy to report that this time [...] I’m happy to report that I had a great day yesterday, save for two points, having traveled from Germany’s worst city to, uh…, Indiana’s largest formation that closest resembles a city, known as Indianapolis. Actually let me back up one half step – really my whole trip has been great, except for two points, which [...] Today I finally downloaded all the pictures off of my camera and uploaded many of them to Flickr–mostly from my recent trip to America. The American Scene is varied and fun, and I thought I would present you some highlights. Enjoy!
Bloomington has a Liberal Green Ethic running through it that [...] Chicago Anke arrived in Indianapolis today, and we had a series of cool adventures in Indy and Bloomington. Here are a couple of photos. Even though my flight does not leave until, essentially, early evening, I am already in Indianapolis. My objective in Indy was to stop by Out Word Bound Books to pick up the latest mystery by Anthony Bidulka, Stain of the Berry.
