A fairly decent overnight kit, but … UNDERWEAR makes all the difference in the world! After Delta lost my luggage, I have learned always, always, always carry extras in my bag.
Maybe this isn’t such a big deal for men?
Its not a big deal for me, MT, but I can’t speak for others 🙂
I do care about underware–but since I had lots of clean underware waiting for me, it was not such a big deal. 🙂
Must be a man thing! Seriously, Delta was very slow at finding my luggage, but after I threw massive fit, they gave me a clothing allowance. After I told the woman that I was at an agriculture conference (yep), trudging through a muddy field in the rain in loafers, and well-seasoned (re: stinky) clothing, she was moved to help me.
Lesson learned. When I go to Germany, all undies go in carry on. Boots go on feet. Brains go in head.
One key to not having luggage lost: avoid double connections.
