Das Buch

So after yesterday’s English language book festival, I thought it was time to write about the first Deutsch Buch I bought.

Kennst du das? is a cute (and inexpensive, at 5€ ) book with words and pictures. Yes… it is a kids book that shows me different items with the correct word immediately below them. Cute, cheerful, and annoying because the book has left out the articles, which leaves me wondering if the Augenbraue (eyebrow) is a boy, girl, or neutered. Turns out it is feminine, but I have to look up each word on each page to find out.

Amusingly, one of the words I will learn the gender for soon is Töpfchen.
