Weimar With strong tailwinds and a relatively empty plane, we were 30 minutes early to Frankfurt. I was at the Frankfurt Hbf in time to catch the 8:20 train to Weimar.
Too bad I didn’t sleep better on the plane. I suspect I’m having a horrible case of jetlag.

TQE : That Queer Expatriate I'm an American living in Berlin, Germany -- which makes me an expatriate, not an ex-patriot. Before landing in Germany, I've lived in Denver, Colorado; Laramie, Wyoming; Bloomington, Indiana; and Weimar, Germany. If you want to write to me, feel free! It could be worse! I am suffering from George W. Bush OVERLOAD. That freakin’ inaugaration (sp) is on every freakin’ channel. *Sigh* Can I move to Canada yet?
At least you don’t work for the company of one of his political appointees. I’m getting rather annoyed at not being able to do my job because I have to go off on wild goose chases for information so that the aforementioned appointee can look smart at parties in Washington, DC.
Unfortunately this chick signs my paycheck, so what can I do? I don’t want to hear her complain when I DON’T burn the midnight oil catching up on company business. When this garbage goes on I become a clock watcher.
Ah… the things we do for a buck. 😉
This recent set of events (having to do all this political garbage) is causing me to send out a resume blast.
There is one job that seems particularly good and is located closer to my home than where I’m at now. It also pays about $20K a year more than I get now and involves politics, but at least I’d be compensated well. I’m thinking it might be better suited for Adam, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
