I am so happy that one of my last stops in Bloomington before moving to Germany was the drug store. (And to the Germans reading this, think Pharmacy—where you get drugs, not a drug store.)
As some of you may recall, I had a shopping bonanza where I bought a number of drugs—and the most useful of which so far has been Tylenol. The 2 big bottles have been life savers at home and the office, and I got my hands on a smaller one that stays in my backpack.
It wasn’t until this weekend that the Sudafed and Sudafed Nighttime became useful.
Thanks to these drugs, I can breath.
If I’d had to go to a Pharmacy here in Germany while ill and try to describe the fact that I am wickedly congested using my shitty German, I would have been screwed. Instead, I crawled out of bed, opened the drug drawer and found exactly what I needed.
Foresight is sometimes 20/20.
