Yesterday’s trip to the doctor and the resulting blood test reminded me of one of my favorite stories to tell on myself.
Awhile back I was visiting my doctor in Denver, and he needed to take blood for a blood test. I was lying on his table and he was feeling up one of my arms, and not finding any vein to draw blood from, so he walked around me to get to the other arm.
As he was doing so he looked at me and said, “You know Adam, you wouldn’t make it on the street.”
Random Thoughts: There were a surprising number of cute young men at the dermatologist’s office. I was pondering revisiting “Dr. Five-Piece” just to see her clients. (Dr. Five-Piece is her name translated literally from German.)
