So, I’ve seen this on a number of blogs recently, including Scott a week or two ago.
The Rules:
1. Go into your archive.
2. Find your 23rd post (or closest to).
3. Find the fifth sentence (or closest to).
4. Post the text of the sentence in your blog along with these instructions.
So… I went into my archives, and I found that my 23rd post was posted on May 23, 2004, and did not include five sentences. It was a post where I revealed that I’d just learned that Indiana was home to a city with an official population of one–New Amsterdam, Indiana. It had two sentences, so the closest sentence to that magic number of five is “two,” so the magic sentence was:
I now want to visit.
I actually visited on May 29th, and posted the following day that the population of the city was considerably larger than one. Koko and I had a great time on the trip to New Amsterdam.
