I believe that NBC Correspondent Michelle Kosinski should be fired for her canoe stunt.
After watching the video, the ability of NBC Today Show’s anchors and Michelle to calmly play off what happened is astounding. There’s a reason that the news media is being taken less seriously by everybody, and contrary to many of the comments on the posted link, this is not a Liberal-Conservative issue, this is an ethical issue.
Michelle Kosinski was clearly trying to mislead the viewers, and that should be paid for with her career.
Of course, she could go into Republican politics, where they’re used to using lies to start wars.
What’s worse, she played this stunt the day before as well and there was some guy walking in the street in the background (about a half-block away) and nobody said anything.
Dear journalists: please stop staging news and start reporting it instead!
