Today I stayed at home to work, do some shopping and other Weimar based things. I also stayed home because the maid needed to pick up the key to the flat.
Unfortunately she forgot.
And this is a lame blog entry.
In other odd moments, this morning it occurred to me that I am eating a lot of bread—a whole lot more bread than I eat in the States. No sooner had I finished thinking this, than Annie mentioned that Germans in the US are called bread-eaters, or something like that, because of how much bread they eat.
I, on the other hand, had a cucumber for lunch—and cucumbers here in Germany are plastic wrapped individually—each wrapping is tighter than the smallest condom on the biggest penis—it’s a struggle to unwrap each one: the plastic tears apart, bunches up, and is generally uncooperative.
PS-I posted photos from my trip to the Wartburg Castle on Flickr.

Great pictures Adam! I’m getting homesick. And I wish we had snow here, too.
A bread-eater.
Thanks! You’ll be back here soon–and I hope there is snow to decorate your view. It’s cold and windy here today.
