Good Luck CQ I hope that CQ is able to keep his gamblin’ urges under control, now that North Carolina has the lottery!
At least I know the scratching noises I hear coming from his house aren’t due to any unwanted bugs, but rather coins working those tickets!
Good Luck!
Lotteries: A tax on people who are bad at math….

And by the way, I posted this before reading MT’s blog:

Yes, I was beside myself when I moved out of Virginia because I didn’t have the lottery available anymore. (dripping sarcasm)
I can’t say that I’ve never played the lottery as I’ve been known to buy a PowerBall or MegaMillions ticket when the prize is over 100 Million dollars. I’m smart enough to only buy 1 ticket as I know it has as good a chance to win as any of the others. I also know that I’ll likely never see my dollar again.
Sadly, the bible-thumping trailer folks don’t understand that.
The odds of winning are indeed great but as John Mellencamp said,”Without hope you got nothing but pain.”
You’re kinder than Gary and I are: We call gambling a “Tax on Old Stupid People.”
adam taught me all about the odds of winning once in a previous life…remember that adam?
