It’s an interesting question to ask: What can you say about a country after watching it celebrate its Independence Day ?
My comparison is not perfect for I can only compare the Independence Day parade of Bloomington, Indiana, USA to the one I watched in Yerevan today. Germany lacks an Independence Day that it celebrates […]
Today is Independence Day in Armenia!
I’m going off to the parade, which is at 10 in Republic Square. It should be massive fun. After that I am not sure what my plans are, probably to visit museums in the city center.
Yesterday I mailed 30 postcards (9,000 dram) to points in Europe and North […]
Hi Everybody!
I’m alive and in Yerevan. I have a lot to say, but I am tired and I do not wish to spend too much time on the computer. In fact, the only thing I want to do on the computer is check my email, but I cannot since for some reason secured connections […]
So, I am leaving Weimar today, headed for Armenia and its beautiful scenery.
Naturally, I am packing—using a friend’s backpack since I’ve heard its not a wise idea to use a suitcase since the minibuses (aka minivans) that one takes from city to city does not have storage, so I might need to keep it […]
Got at b3co.com!
Missing from the site, but also ridden, is the Portland Max. I might have missed others. I will soon be adding Yerevan, but that too is missing from this site.

So I’ve spoken cryptically.

That is “Thank You” in Eastern Armenian.
I’m leaving quite soon–less than 48 hours from right now. This post is testing my ability to post while traveling in Armenia–I’m going to use a different username and password, just in case the ‘net is not as secure as it ought to be.
That said, I do […]
I know that I am going to regret posting this, so be gentle:
Which “Saved By The Bell” Character Are You?

Today’s been a busy day—I made substantial progress on a knotty project and am happy to report that I think I see the end of the tunnel, although there are still three nightmares awaiting me.
Oh well.
Tonight is movie night and we’re watching an obscure old flick: The Abominable Dr. Phibes.
