So after three and a half spectacular days in Weimar, it is cooling off.
Yes, I think I cannot wear the shorts tomorrow—much to my disappointment. Nor, I suspect, are sandals feasible. It’s an unfortunate and sad change of pace. Not only that I never had any cause to complain about sunburn this week, so it’s like the story is coming to an illogical conclusion.
So where does that leave me?
Unfortunately my flip Weimar post is far from ready—I know what I want to say in it, but it involves a little bit more research (hello Wednesday evening!) and some creativity.
Beyond that, nothing. I worked most of today (save for a visit from Cathy) and got 95% through a major project. The last five percent is picking up a few loose ends and asking people to clarify their hand writing on faxes that did not come through as clearly as I would have liked.
I also have started to think about next week, when I am off to Sunny Lisbon. With any luck I will be able to find the beaches easily and get work done whilst sitting on the sand.
What more could one ask for?
Save the shorts, sandals & sunburn for sunny Lisbon.
I can’t wait for sandy beaches (I’m jealous!) I’m so pale these days that I glow in the dark.
Just call me jealous. {SNIFF} I wanna go to the beach.
What more? How about lovely 80 degree weather in South Africa… or at least 70’s.
Don’t rub it in. 😉
I hope it’s that nice when we are there!
🙂
We are also experiencing a cooling off as well. So much for those warm and lovely days we had
