Today’s my last full day in Bloomington before I head out on a biz-trip to… Germany.
Yes, I’m returning to the Father-Land for a week of meetings. The outbound journey is through Detroit and Paris to Leipzig, while I return from Frankfurt on a double-hop I did not originally desire.
For my last day, I’ve been cleaning endlessly and preparing to pack—since my flight isn’t until late afternoon, I am waiting until tomorrow to pack my suitcase. It should be a relative snap to fit everything in the suitcase and head out the door for the airport.
On the upside, I’m spending Saturday night in Leipzig, one of my favorite cities. Happily it is also the start of Leipzig Christopher Street Days. Although my hotel is not especially close to the dance club for Saturday night, I might hop a taxi and see what’s doing at the club. However, I will be coming off of a transatlantic hop, so it’s easy to imagine that I might instead crash and burn.
Regardless I’ll have time between arrival and nap time to do some shopping in Leipzig—pick up the essentials that I am missing from Germany.
Have a great trip 🙂
Hurry Back, home again in Indiana.

@jerry: thanks!
@Ed: Love the song, but the term “home” is relative for me.
