Random Stuff

Frequent Flyer Digits: 49,987 is a number likely to strike fear into the heart of dedicated frequent fliers. It’s the number of miles I’ve flown so far this year—fortunately it’s not where I am going to stop.

Weather: 38°C is too hot. Fortunately the weather cooled to a more comfortable 32°C.

Meetings: The week has been really productive and wonderful. It’s been well worth the trip to Germany.

Geekiness: What’s more geeky? Driving five hours out of your way to visit the southern most point of Africa, or spending an extra day in Germany in order to buy the British English Harry Potter book.

Bananas: My friends will be happy to know that I fully appreciate the usage of banana peels—particularly after being briefly warmed in the microwave.

    yay harry potter!

I’m really curious as to your banana peel use…

Whoa! I get the banana reference. 😉

  • Just like Koko, I have no idea what you’d use the banana peels for. My guesses go from realistic culinary to the totally depraved.

Hey, young Obiwan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) was at the southern point of Africa recently. He’s been riding a motorcycle from there to the northern most point this month, traveling up the east side of the continent.

He’s just as geeky as you and I!

  • re Bananas: See video today.
