Am I supposed to put the butter between the croissant and the chocolate?

I think you put the chocolate on the croissant.
You take the butter home to save as lube should you find yourself lacking KY or other suitable substances.

A few Germans have said that they would put the butter between the croissant and the chocolate. I have to confess that I have a physical, negative, reaction each time one confirms this to me.
I’d do salami and butter before I do chocolate cream with butter.
Mmm… Chocolate and butter… delicious. I’m an American, but my mother is, for all intents and purproses, German, and I was raised on such stuff.
