I’m particularly impressed by the artful care taken with the chalkboard signs in front of that ice-cream shop.
In the States, it is somewhat rare to see this kind of artistic, graphic detail.

@cameron: The signs in that photo are pretty typical of signs in Weimar at cafés and the like. It’s a shame that stores in the States don’t care that much.
