I returned to Weimar on Monday—it was a long and uneventful, for the most part. The only exception being the 10 minute pause somewhere just inside Germany where the train stopped because there was a man on the tracks.
A few minutes later we passed two police officers escorting a man out of the woods toward their car which was parked at the nearest crossing.
Yesterday and today have been sluggish days. Monday I went to bed no later than 10 and Tuesday I stayed up just past 11—both days falling into bed exhausted. While I was able to get up with relative ease on Tuesday, this morning it was a struggle.
I think I did too much over the weekend and whilst in Rotterdam, and now I am paying the price. It doesn’t help that there is a meeting today that will keep me away from home later than I hoped—I’d forgotten about the meeting until I got the email this morning.
Blah.
Meanwhile I’m not really able to concentrate right now—I’m thinking about my comfortable bed, sweet dreams, and a fantastic day tomorrow when I’m working at the Weimar Office.
