Wow, you found the exact opposite issue of having parts left over. Are you sure you had it to begin with? Sometimes parts are missing.
@cq: All the small parts were in a Tupperware dish, and I counted everything before I started (I even had three extra screws in one case!)… this is a large, probably two to three foot long piece of metal, and it was packaged with four smaller pieces of metal–wrapped in plastic.
I remember holding it. I remember unwrapping it to get at the other four pieces of metal.
I have no idea where I put it now…
