Wednesday, I am having the radiators in my living room fixed.
To do this, the radiator will be removed from the wall, the wall will be ripped out, new drywall installed, and the radiator will be reinstalled. This set of actions will occur twice as there are two radiators in said room.
The workmen are scheduled to show up at 10.
At what time will the job be complete?
Do they run on German time?
@disenchanted: I have every confidence that they will show up between 09:45 and 10:05, leaning toward an earlier arrival time.
June
Knowing what I know about what they are working on, A large amount of this will depend on how rusted-in the fittings on the old fixture(s) are and any surprises they discover.
Depending on what they use to repair the drywall, it make take up to 24 hours for the patchwork to dry.
I’m guessing you’re in it for at least 3 days.
they will come around 10:30am leaving around 5 or 6pm and so they will the next day. i am guessing u are having it fixed by late thursday eve.
Second Tuesday of next week. They take long coffee breaks.
Of course, that depends if they have the right part in their van or if they have to order it, which of couse they will not know until they have taken everything apart 😉
PS Be happy that this is not a telephone or credit card problem!!!
@Jul: I hope you are very wrong 😉
@CQ: Depressing.
@Anki: Depressing…
@Christina: the second Tuesday of next week? What about the first Tuesday?
@Erik: Depressing….
it will not be fixed properly the first time…the will have to come back. so i’m guessing right before xmas eve.
Update: Radiator remover showed up at 11:10, late due to an emergency elsewhere in the city.
