This morning I left Hartford (yes, I was there) and boarded a train to New York City.
It’s nice to be in The City, even if for only one night, and an important meeting first thing tomorrow morning. Unfortunately I’m behind on a project and when I’m not in the meeting, I predict that I will spend a great deal of time working at a coffee shop—hopefully my favorite joint in the city, B-Cup at 13th Street and B.
I’d say more, but I am returning to working, as soon as I hit “post”.
when is it that you are coming back to weimar again, adam?
i am very mindless these days. the job in the city hall started last week and yes, i even missed when you went off.
shame on anki.
So jealous. I’d love to go to The City.
So, what’s Amtrak like nowadays?
@Anki – I’m back now, but you know that!
@disenchanted: I wish you were there with me, but I was, of course, barely there.
@J: I took what I could only describe as a “regional express” type of train connecting to another “regional express” type of train. The seats were ok, with power outlets, so better than DB there, but the way its set up, its like its something strange instead of an every day experience.
