So yesterday was a fantastic day—work went well, we had an after work party, and I feasted on some fantastic roast turkey, drank some beer, and had some great conversations before heading home.
By the time I returned to Weimar, just before 9, I was exhausted. I ended up crashing before 9:30—no big deal, although, as it turns out, it was a harbinger of things to come—namely a sore throat at 3am.
Yes, I woke up at 3 and had a mild scratchy throat.
When my alarm went off at 6:30, it was still scratchy, so I opted to stay home. I fully intended to work, but instead I ended up reading a book and taking several lengthy naps.
Now I’m on to the next stage of my cold—that congested stage.
And I never left home.
I have a lot of things I want to blog about, but I lack the energy.
Yuck.
feel better soon.

Get well soon.
Damn it! How could I have caught your cold through the ‘net? I woke up in the middle of the night gagging on snot. ick. Too bad I can’t stay home today, but I have a meeting at noon.

Thanks everybody–I’m definitely on the upswing–but I have a ways to go. Today I went out for 3 hours!
