Thanks to Cathy for noticing the (temporary) addition of a third to the statues in Theaterplatz. For now it’s Goethe, Schiller, und Liszt.

Liszt has his own cool joint in Budapest. Been there?
Y’all having an Iron Curtain Sleepover?
Excellent photo… I will seek it out next time I visit Budapest.
One should tread carefully when trying to out do something that Weimar “owns”–like Liszt and Weimar.
Liszt has a permanent statue. There’s the Liszt Haus, as well, plus the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar.
Of course Liszt takes a reduced place in the sky after Goethe and Schiller.
He cures depression by stopping by the Liszt-Apotheke–which is actually quite close to where I live.
Liszt makes a fine addition! I hope it remains forever so!
It always looked as if something was missing and I guess it was always Liszt 🙂
btw, Weimar’s music university/college is named after him!(I had taken some classes there during my “lets learn trumpet, but be lazy” days!!)
