For the last couple years-maybe longer-I’ve used a photo of me from in front of a Bloomington, Indiana, Mexican restaurant. I co-opted the message to indicate that I, Adam, am “Everyday Special”.
When I started my recent website infrastructure changes (not yet officially revealed), I decided that it was about time to go ahead and go away from being “Everyday Special”. Honestly, I haven’t owned the jacket I wore in the photo in at least two years.
Yesterday I finally found a new photograph that I liked. It was taken by Anke as we were off to explore some nearby ruins–she decided to take a photo of the three of us: Prashanth, Anke, and Me. It took a couple tries to get the three of us. In one of the first shots, Prashanth accidentally ducked out, but it resulted in a perfect shot of Anke and me; a perfect photo of me that I could use to replace the “Everyday Special” version of me that’s all over the web.
We played around with the software and while I ultimately ended up creating the square image you see above, there were some other really excellent images.
Adam is a superb example of male pulchritude. No photos could do full justice to his physical comeliness.
Allow me to clarify. The photos of Adam are very beautiful, indeed, but no matter how good the photo, it will never fully capture the full breathtakingness of his physical presence.
I would venture to guess it’s been closer to three years for the everyday special picture. I took that when I still lived in B’ton and have since moved three different times….how time flies!
That Adam, the Queer Expatriate, is one handsome dude, I must say.
Wow! That Adam sure is CUTE!
Reko – It’s fab to know I have a fan club of 1!
koko – 3 years sounds about right. That was such a great sign!
I like the kaleidoscopic image….its so surreal!
I like the sepia-toned one best, Adam. The original crop one is a bit blurry. Just the photo editor in me talking, mind you.
Prashanth – You can’t hide from my vision–I have eyes everywhere!
ian – And yet, its the same photo–the sepia one is just a modified version of the original crop. Some day I should learn how to use photo software…
where did the “hole-in-the-middle-of-adams-face”-pic go?
We never saved it, but just for you, I have recreated it and posted it above.
haha!
thank you.
hahaha.
