Wow — I have to say I didn’t see anything bad in this gourd or a meal, just decorate art.
When I picked it up, I saw a swan craning it’s neck, with it’s beak pointing up.
For now I plan on letting it sit on my dining room table–I don’t think it is actually edible. I unless it starts to rot, I plan on letting it dry out over the winter. I remember doing this as a kid, and then one ends up with a rattle.

These are about the only things people use to decorate which are bumpy and misshapen. Anything else and we would be disturbed, but with gourds, everything is beautiful. Think I’ll go out and buy some myself!
