My DSL is working again. And I’m getting caught up with a lot of things now that I can be online at home—it makes me wonder what life was like before DSL speed Internet at home.
I found out, to a limited extent this week when I went out for dinner with a friend on Tuesday and then, Wednesday, I went out and saw a movie with Snooker in Berlin.
Seems old fashioned and quaint.

I remember my life before internet. I just had to call people by phone …. But I read alot of books and newspapers , doing some programming, homework from the school. It was a cool time
Before internet? I had a 14.4 modem and CompuServe. 🙂
Wish I could go out to a movie with you and Snooker in Berlin, too. 🙂
Nikolay Degtyarev – phone? Was it wired to a wall?
Scott – Hey! I started with 1200 baud and dialing up to “The Batcave” — a BBS run off off C64s.
