It’s January and it’s the fifth, which means I’m participating in Five on the Fifth. This time the theme is “fun and games.”
There are a lot of ways to take on the idea of “fun and games”, and I think that my five are split between Berlin and my apartment. First up is Berlin: a tubing hill set up at Potsdamer Platz–fun for the whole family. Then I managed to get on a U7 that was one long open car, the length of the platform–it’s fun to watch the train move ahead of you, especially on curves and hills. Finally, New Year’s morning, evidence of the fun and games that Germans were up to the previous evening.
From my home you see two of the things I see right as I walk in my front door: Captain Kirk, Scotty, Sulu, and two Mr. Spocks. I got these at Burger King here in Germany and it wasn’t until I got them home that I realized they speak German! Lastly is the bulletin board where I’ve posted lots of fun picture that make me happy. It’s all a game.

So very enjoyable. Well done. Love the notice board
Nice collection. I love your bulletin board, but find the train shot fascinating!
I really like the tubing hill. I’ve managed to go my whole
life without ever having the opportunity to try this activity which
looks so fun. I wonder if I’m too old to give it a try?
The notice board IS good! Aussiebum rules!
Fun, definitely… well the guys at the metro could obviously restrain themselves. Well spotted!
Love

love the tube shot.
jason – thanks!
Howard – thanks – I think a video of the tube going up and down and around curves would be hypnotic. I should make one…
Cubby – One is never too old.
