This year the Whiney Expatriate Blogger Meet-Up (WEBMU) is going to be October 21 through 23, in Köln.
For those of you unfamiliar with WEBMU, it’s an annual meet-up of English language bloggers based in Germany. During the meet-up, we get a tour of the host city, share meals, and, on Saturday night, go on the World Famous® That Queer Expatriate’s Queer Expedition®, or TQEQE® for short. (And I’m kidding about the ®-thing)
Actually, truth be told, everybody is invited—as long as they’re fluent in English, since that is the main language of the weekend. Even Germans are welcome (provided they don’t mind a little Germany bashing), and even expatriate bloggers from other lands (don’t make me visit Oslo, Texpatriate).
You can learn more by heading over to Expatriate Bloggers in Germany.
I’m thinking about it. Will probably decide last minute. Haven’t felt much like part of the blogging world this year.
I hope you can make it — I was thinking about not going, but some how I ended up buying a plane ticket to go, and so I’m going.
