This weekend was the Schöneberg Kürbisfest – that is the Schöneberg Pumpkin Festival – on the nearby Akazienstraße.
Saturday the weather wasn’t really that great and I only briefly wandered through it, buying a few pumpkins to decorate my apartment for the month of October. Sunday morning was clear and crisp – temperatures have fallen substantially to the point where one can comfortably wear a jacket and know that the temperature won’t soar to the point that it will suffocate you.
The dominant color was certainly orange – and I love it. It came through not just in the pumpkins but also carrots and fire.
Love the pictures. They really put me in the mood for some festival action and pumpkin shopping.
Nice work, especially on the flames picture. Those are hard to capture, in my experience.
Mateo – Thanks! I even bought a bottle of pumpkin-Sekt (sparkling wine) — will save that for Halloween.
cliff – Thanks!
Your photography is taking giant leaps ever since you got your new cam. I am really impressed Adam!
Thanks!
