Berlin Festival of Lights, Opening Night Brandenburger Tor is impressive during the Festival of Lights.
Lights along Unter den Linden.
Television reporters getting ready for a liveshot of the Berliner Dom
Surprisingly difficult to capture, plus the lights on the base were moving.

Adam, your photos are looking super-fab of late. You got skillz.
MT – Thank you!
koko – No doubt!
Martin Wisser – Thank yoU!
Sarah – Thanks — although much credit goes to Snooker for giving me lots of advice and suggestions.
hey..I left a nice comment for you here a couple of days ago, what happened? Can’t see it!
You did leave a very nice comment, but it wasn’t here… it was on Flickr….
wow…so this is what happens when people approach 30! 😛
Just wait until you approach 40. 😀
How the heck did you get that pick of the Fernsehturm?! In tried taking a similar shot with the lights and all that but it’s either too bright or too dark or neither. Surprisingly difficult you say? Well, the element of surprise is gone but it’s still difficult!
It was Snooker in Berlin, in combination with my camera. According to the exif data, The photo took 1.3 seconds… so it was a long exposure.
Tonight was the last night, so I’ll have to wait a year before I put your advice into practice. I guess a year’s exposure might be too long.
