One of the highlights of my trip to the UK last weekend was meeting @torchyboy – the fabulous man about Twitter, who manages to be funny, interesting, and interactive.
Now I’ve shamelessly flirted with him for a long time – and even received, last summer, an autographed photo featuring him in his (British) pants. The photo hangs on the wall at the foot of my bed.
We’d arranged to meet at the Tate Modern for lunch – and about ten minutes before our (adjusted) meeting time, it occurred to me that I honestly had no idea what he looked like and no idea what to expect.
Honestly, I got what I expected – which is to say, I got Torchy!
I won’t actually say anything specific about him because he is exactly what he presents himself as – and what he comes across as: charming, witty, and hot (especially in his (British) pants). (No, I did not see him in his pants in person.)
We chatted for just over an hour before I had to run: I needed to catch the bus to Cheltenham, where I had my friends to meet. The time flew by and, quite frankly, I was surprised to realize exactly how much time had passed.
It was a pleasure meeting @torchyboy – and I will continue to shamelessly flirt with him.
A boy can dream…
