I acquired this wristband thingy whilst riding the Lady Gaga truck at Berlin CSD (Pride) 2011.
If it weren’t for the fact that I keep it on a shelf that I see out of the corner of my eye, I probably would have tossed this years ago. Its main purpose is to remind me that it was given to me by somebody on the street while I was on the Lady Gaga truck. I do not think it was intended to be given to me (I’m not a young twink and this is clearly meant for twinkies) but I have it.
Actually, I think I will trash it after writing about it: I’ve been in the mood for cleaning of late, throwing out a lot of things because I don’t know why I have them in the first place – or because they have lived out their usefulness with respect to my life.
The tag indicates it is 80% cotton, 20% elastane, and carries the URL www.myrtle-beach.de – which is a non-functional website some 9 years later. Quelle surprise.
During the Covid-19 crisis, I am going to try and make a point of writing a blog post about an object in my home.
We’ll see how long this lasts.
