Inside Lisbon

Looking for hot tips about Lisbon?

Look further, ‘cause I can only tell you about the office I was in yesterday—from about 8:30 until 5 or so. I was busy working.

During my off hours, I’ve been busy sleeping. My last few days in Weimar left me exhausted, and I ended up going to bed at 9:30 Sunday night and waking at 6 Monday morning. If I’d been in Weimar, it would have been roughly my sleeping hours since Germany is an hour later, but since I was in Lisbon, both numbers are embarrassingly early.

Last night was better. After getting back to my hotel I ate a salad and then went out and watched people for a spell. Returning to the hotel I watched a bit of TV, did a bit of reading, and then went to bed at 11:30. I woke up at 7 this morning—so I am getting closer to standard Portuguese behavior, I just need to stay up an extra hour or two tonight and sleep until 9 tomorrow.

Random Rant: My bank in Weimar is messing with me again, and now I’m in no position to talk to them easily. I think I will be changing banks once I get back because I am getting really pissed off. If you’re moving to Weimar, don’t use the VR Bank Weimar eG.

  • oh, adam – about that freaking bank: do u need me to do anything? (besides the burning down of it…)
write me an email, if so.

    and! lisbon-pictures, now!

  • @Chica–not right now, but when I get back I think I want to change banks. Who do you recommend?

I haven’t taken any lisbon photos yet–I haven’t gone anywhere “new” to me yet, and I doubt that you want photos of a desk in an office.
