Fall

I happened to look out the windows this afternoon on the train, and I can only say that the fall colors in this area are every bit as spectacular as the colors in Indiana… it’s beautiful here!

How are colors in your neck of the woods?

I am looking out my office window. I see yellow, red, and dead. Trees were good about a week ago! Of course, we have been under clouds for a lot of the past few weeks. AND we are having a lunar eclipse tonight, but I won’t be able to see it because of the clouds!

We’ve passed our peak in Cleveland, but most trees still have leaves on them, so its quite nice. Made even better by the warm spell of weather we are having right now.

They were gorgeous here for the two day they happened. 😉

I went hiking up in the mountains a couple weeks ago and there had been color, but I managed to arrive during a windstorm, so all the color that had been there was lying on the ground.

I kind of missed out this year. I had the meeting at the beach during our most spectacular days this year. I’m sure next year will be good though.

    I’m glad you’re enjoying Deutschland.

So I took a few photos on campus about two weeks ago…Nothing spectacular but thought I’d share them with you nonetheless 🙂 I missed the peak of the pretty colours by about 3 days…so they are kind of craptacular and had to get buildings in the background so that way the trees didn’t look so crappy. 🙁 silly me and working 15 hour days and missing the pretty trees 🙁

    Hey Koko…

    Thanks for the slide show!!!

I actually took a few photos myself, though I have so many of Bloomington in the fall it isn’t even funny. I don’t think it was as pretty this year as it has been in years past, and the rain knocked down all the leaves right when they were getting to the best part. There were some nice red ones around the courthouse, but I ran outta film before then. Oh well!
