Obama in Weimar

News from Germany today: Apparently President Obama is planning to visit Weimar June 5th, specifically Buchenwald, which his uncle, Charles T. Payne,  helped liberate at the end of World War II.

  • You realise of course as local correspondent this put you on special assignment. If you can’t arrange an interview for your blog, at least get an autograph. Or a photo.

    • I’ll do my best, but I imagine it will be pretty tricky even just to go.

      My thumbs are pressed and fingers crossed–I’d love a photo, adore an autograph and be happy with being in the audience.
