I have some catching-up to do.

    Thanks for flying Lufthansa!!!

You flew on more aircrafts than I got to know about during my internship so far.

    Greetings from Philly!

  • I’m very specific in my airline designation–each operating certificate is a different airline–hence SkyEurope gets counted twice since they set up a separate airline in Hungary in order to fly to and from Budapest before Slovakia joined the EU. They still operate two airlines.

Also, I doubt many people consider UnitedExpress as different from United, but I do–down to specific carriers.

  • Hey Annie, I was tired when I wrote last night, I thought you were talking airlines, not aircraft types…

Some of the planes I listed are no longer commonly flown by major airlines in the the USA or Europe for noise reasons or because they’re no longer economical. The 727 is the best example of this, although Northwest flew them until a few years ago.
