Friday afternoon was gorgeous—and instead of staying cooped up at home working, I decided to seek the pleasures of the great outdoors.
Naturally my first stop was the Weimar Office for a cup of tea and a slice of cake—none of the cakes spoke to me, but I settled in and watched the store get recorded for television. The barista working suggested I could be on TV if I wanted—however I chose to wear one of my more offensive English language t-shirts on Friday and I didn’t want to be forever recorded on German television as the guy wearing an offensive t-shirt on TV.
The cameraman doing the work was cute and I tried to get some photos, but since I didn’t want to use the flash, it was a challenge to get a decent photograph—I think the one below sort of qualifies: the cameraman asked to get a shot of a drink being poured from below, so he stuck a drinking glass on his camera lens and a shot of espresso was poured into the glass while he filmed.
After my tea I returned home and changed into shorts and headed out on a walk into the fields west of where I live—taking a different path from my normal one. This time I got to see and listen to a guitarist practicing while taking in fabulous greenery that is this spring.
Of course, now we all want to know what was on the T-shirt.
Indeed, what was on the T-shirt? I really like this bike & horse pic.
yes, dear man, what was on the shirt?
Love the spring photos, particularly the one with the biker & horse rider!
