The City Chaotic

I’ve had a very productive day here in New York City.

However, I have to say that it is a vastly different pace from anywhere else I’ve been in recent years: constant honking of horns, taxis in large numbers, and that unmistakable bouquet odor that lurks in subway entrances.

Due to the huge blizzard that hit New York City a week and a half ago, my father is in town, thus giving me the opportunity to see both him and my great-aunt whilst I am in town.

So is the odor more like hobo or London phone booth?

I need to get up to the city.

  • i’m back from vacation. are you still in the US? i love NYC because there’s an abundancy of great ethnic food, but i can live without the smell. according to my performance artist pal, she says NYC has become the place where the top 10 popular kids in high school go to become ‘somebody’ and everything is becoming horribly gentrified.

btw, i find the subway smell to be a potpourri of cigarettes, urine, feces, regular BO, with a hint of crack smoke.

  • I’ve never been to NYC, but I’d like to visit in the future.
