CSD Berlin, 2013: In photographs Yesterday was a fine day for a parade and a fine day for allergies. This does not make for a great combination, at least as far as I am concerned.
That said, did go to the Christopher Street Day Parade here in Berlin, lasted for about two hours (of the parade) before my capacity to absorb noise kicked in and before my allergy drug gave out. I never made it to the CSD Festival at Brandenburg Gate, but I’ve never really been interested in said piece of the parade spectacular. A few of my favorites are below, on Flickr you can find the complete 2013 CSD Berlin set.
For the second year in a row (that I can remember) the United States Embassy had a float in the parade, this year quoting JFK and Obama.
Last year’s float featured two buff dudes. This year… I guess equality and diversity should be equal and diverse.
She looks fabulous!
He also looks fabulous!
Last time I flew Lufthansa, the crew did not dress this way, much to my disappointment. That said, Lufthansa disappoints on so many levels.
This next time this officer of the law needs to arrest somebody, I hope he arrests me!
This is, of course, what CSD is all about.
