Thursday and Friday were great.
Until I went to bed Friday evening. And then I thought to myself – I must be getting sick – there was that tattletale sign of a mild sore throat.
And so it was: Saturday I woke up feeling like crap. Which continued through Sunday and Monday. I was […]
So Saturday I found myself looking at a gigantic picture of what was undeniably a man. With a pussy.
Yes, it was a naked Buck Angel, and as I’ve heard him described himself, while listening to the Savage Love podcast, he’s a man with a pussy. Never having seen him naked before (not my thing), […]
Yesterday was the 25th anniversary of the Berlin Wall falling.
It’s interesting – for the first time, that I can recall, I was asked what I was doing when I heard that the wall had opened – and it occurred to me that I really have no memory of the event, when it happened.
I’ve heard of Natur-Park Schöneberger Südgelände — an old rail yard converted into a park, of sorts, nearby to where I live, but I’ve never visited.
Until today.
It’s a nice park — a 1€ entry fee (exact change required – and pay because there are random inspections) is required. Once inside there’s a […]
I’ve had a busy week – work has, unexpectedly, flared up. Two weeks ago, I was relaxed at the office, right now I doubt that I can meet all the deadlines facing me, without doing some serious work at home this coming weekend.

Lenzig is a nice neighborhood café – the kind of place where most customers are regulars, the food predictable, and the atmosphere pleasant. It’s nothing I would travel out of my way […]
King Kong — my drink at the Monkey Bar
Yesterday one of my ex-Jena colleagues and still cool friend, AK, arrived in Berlin in order to attend a workshop. Instead of bumming around and wasting her evening alone, she and I met up and bummed around and wasted her evening together.
Her hotel – […]
The start of the CSD Parade feautred flags from around the world, with rainbow flags added.
a boy — he’s got a metal chain attached and his owner is behind him. Both were having a great time.
Shoe switch — She couldn’t take the heels any longer, so she switch with a […]
Look at that engine! Look at those landing gear!
Top Gun posing on the wing!
Look at that German equipment! (The drones are pretty spiffy too!)
The Swiss Air Force protecting the Berlin Airport. Or maybe they’re attacking. I cannot be sure.

Wednesday, after work, I wandered through parts of Mitte — coming up with a few photographs.
This is the entrance to the future “U-Unter den Linden” along Friedrichstrasse. The new station will replace U-Französiche Strasse, once the extension of the U5 opens, thus creating an interchange station between the new U5 and the U6.
