I noted recently that since moving to Berlin, my life’s become busy. So, rather than ramble on and on about crap, here are the highlights of my life, right now: First, the weather, although warm, is much nicer today than it was yesterday. Yesterday Berlin was a humid mess and it was sticky just walking […] So that CD I bought yesterday? It turns out that Tomáše Savky was a contestant on the Czech Republic’s version of American Idol, Česko hledá Superstar in 2004. (See related: Racism in the contest.) He came in second to Aneta Langerova. This makes the third Idol that I have purchased a CD for, the other […] So I’m still not sure why I picked Cheb (Webcam of Main Square; +6 Hours from US Eastern Time, so that might explain why it’s dark!) in the Czech Republic as my destination this weekend, but I did. I suspect I chose Cheb precisely because it was in the Czech Republic and because going there […] I leave soon for Cheb, Czech Republic. Will be gone two nights to what is supposed to be an architectually fascinating city. I am sure I will have lots to say Sunday night.
